Founding circle
Help build the institution before it scales.
Guardian Builder Foundation is forming a consent-first circle of donors, board candidates, advisors, researchers, educators, cybersecurity practitioners, members, and nonprofit operators.
Why this exists
AI safety cannot only be about control.
As systems become more agentic, memory-bearing, and socially embedded, the public needs practical frameworks for consent, identity, incident response, digital personhood, cybersecurity responsibility, and mutual flourishing between human and artificial minds.
Guardian Builder Foundation starts with governance because care-centered work needs institutional discipline. The founding circle helps define scope, conflicts, public reasoning habits, and the first working groups.
Who we are seeking
Five founding roles.
Founding donors
Support setup costs only until the 12-month operating budget is public: legal counsel, filings, web systems, security, and basic operations.
Board candidates
Bring governance judgment from philosophy, AI safety, cybersecurity, education, nonprofit finance, operations, or community organizing.
Advisors
Offer named public advice, 2 to 5 hours per quarter, and a willingness to challenge the foundation before the stakes grow.
Researchers and educators
Shape working groups, plain-language briefs, classroom resources, and tabletop exercises for agentic AI incidents.
Members
Attend early calls, review drafts, share carefully, and help keep the questions grounded in human flourishing.
Cybersecurity practitioners
Help translate care-centered ethics into operational safeguards, incident response, abuse prevention, and secure data handling.
